Pre-enrolment for BA Book Studies

For the book studies bachelor programme at the LMU Munich, a pre-enrolment with the department by 15 July is compulsory. It is not possible to begin studies from the first semester in the summer semester. For international applicants, all the following requirements apply, with an additional registration/application being necessary with the International Office!

Here is how pre-enrolment works

  1. Register through the pre-enrolment portal: www.efv.verwaltung.uni-muenchen.de/babuch (click there on “register”).
  2. Following your registration, you will receive a short e-mail with a link. Clicking on this link will confirm your registration.
  3. Log in to the pre-enrolment portal. There, the further procedure for pre-enrolment in the department will be described in detail.
  4. Following the completion of the pre-enrolment, you will receive a short confirmation e-mail. Once the processing of your pre-enrolment is complete (after 15 July), you will receive an attestation of punctual registration, which you will have to present when enrolling at the Student Chancellery and/or the International Office
